The strider, pig, mule, donkey, horse, and skeleton horse should all be made to work consistently in the same way, as to how the game allows you to interact with potential mounts--that is, from either riding the mount or shift right clicking it you should open up the mount inventory/interface, and from there, all mounts should have a "saddle slot" so that all mounts can have a saddle put on them, and taken off (without having to kill them). Furthermore, a "chest/storage slot" should be added, so that a chest can be placed AND off (again, without killing) the mounts or mobs that can take a chest now. Either the contents of chest spill on the ground or, if there's room, go into the player's inventory, but either way, if the saddle can be equipped and unequipped (though, not as of yet consistently, as stated above) why couldn't/shouldn't the chest be able to be too? The general idea would be to both improve the functionality as well as maintain a level of standardization across interacting with "pack mobs"/mounts.
