Unique Mobs for 2 boring biomes (Mesa/Badlands and Ice Spikes)

The Mesa and Ice Spikes are both very rare biomes. But the problem that both of them have is that you have no good reason to go to either (even red sand can be obtained elsewhere). I have 2 mob ideas that give players a reason to go to these biomes.

-For the Mesa, Scorpions. Scorpions would act similarly to Cave Spiders and would be around the same size. Instead of applying poison, they would apply Fatal Poison (An effect that already exists on Bedrock edition). They would sometimes drop their tail which you could brew into Fatal Poison potions.

-For Ice spikes, Sea Lions. Sea Lions would be neutral and spend most of their time sleeping on the icy platforms. They would occasionally go into water to hunt and kill cod and salmon. Like turtles, they would have a "spawn block' which they return to when they sleep.

    I think the idea of sea lions and scorpions is good, but I think there is also the idea of lizards for mesa and penguins for Ice spikes.

    I like the mob ideas, but there is one problem.

    There isn't enough water in ice spikes for seals or penguins.

     They belong in cold oceans/cold beaches.

    I don't think Ice spikes need their own mob, they need their own structure.
