I feel that there should be a /properties command to change the behavior of blocks and entities. Essentially, it says that whatever block can act like whatever other block in the game as well as itself making "custom" blocks/entities respectively (you can't make a block act like an entity or vise-versa) far easier than a mod of pluggin. Syntax:
/property block <(block)*aka filter*> <x y z> <x y z> <add; replace; remove> <(block)>
/property entity <target selector> <x y z> <x y z> <add; replace; remove> <target selector>
For instance, /property block water 0 64 0 20 84 20 replace lava, would make you burn even though it has the water texture.
