Raccoons would steal stuff while you sleep or run through a dark oak forest or oak forest. You can hear them chittering and they will steal food from you if you don’t look at them. If you look at them then they will run away. You can tame one the same way that you tame a fox cub, breed the two parents and capture the cub and take it away and tame it with food. If you kill a raccoon you have a 1/5 chance that you will get a raccoon hide, with the raccoon hide you can get three more leather and one more raccoon skin/hide and when you add the leather and the skin you can craft a raccoon hat, like the ones with the tail at the back of the hat. Villagers should be able to trade emeralds for the raccoon hides/skins and if you have a hat then you can sell it to one of the leather workers at the village. You can dye the hats as well in a cauldron, so you could have a pretty cool looking hat. A blue and black raccoon skin hat is pretty cool. You can also put these on the armor stands that you have.
