You should add a mud block, that spawns by swamps, but also when it rains anywhere randomly grass blocks turn into mud. If you step in mud, you get stuck and you have to continuously jump to get out. To pick up mud, you must use a bucket. Then you can dump it out just like water. If mud is sitting too long not in the rain, it turns into dry mud (I’ll talk about in a second), and then grass again. However, if you put the mud beside water, it won’t dry up. If you have a pig near the mud, it will go play in it, rolling around and getting all dirty. If you kill a pig while it’s dirty, you get 1-2 blocks of dry mud. You can use dry mud and turn it into mud patch with a crafting table (using 1 dry mud block makes 2 mud patches) and use it to patch up your tools or armour with an anvil. It would take more mud patch to fix a diamond tool or armour then it would take to fix an iron tool or armour piece. To get a mud bucket, you can either scoop up mud while it’s raining, or make it with 2 dry mud blocks and a water bucket.
