Joining friends should be way easier on Java

It is really difficult for me to join my friends on Java Edition and I want to be able to play with my friends without having to download the server jar and open notepads and all of that really complicated stuff. If you're reading this please make an easier way to join people

    I agree, I tried to download a free server off there website and it almost gave me a virus!

    You should be able to add then join someone's world without a server or LAN.

    And!... paying for Minecraft, then being forced to pay for a server hosting programs. I'd say that's kind of scummy on Mojang's behalf!
