A shy, peaceful creature that has no physical body and cannot be harmed by the player, Serenes, commonly distinguishable by floating leaves or azalea petals in forests or meadows, would be a new mob that would help “friendly” players find dungeons (mob spawners) or the player’s loot if they died. Associated with Serenes, “friendliness” would be a new, unseen mechanic that would grow whenever the player tamed an animal, defeated a raid, or successfully defends a Serenes from Vexes (the only thing that could kill a Serene in survival), but would go down whenever the player punches a tamed animal, villager, or a baby passive mob. Serenes would be a rarer spawn that could be more commonly found near villages or near a respawning dead player; if a “friendly” player dies and respawns, Serenes would lead them to the location of their loot. Finally, Serenes would guide players with faint laughter and tranquil songs. There could also be other Serene variations for other geographical features: oceans (seen as brighter colored water with bubbles), tundra (seen as a cloud of snow and ice), and the desert (seen as a cloud of sand). This mob would bring an emphasis for players to tame animals and be kind to villagers and baby passive mobs, as well as providing a new method to find dungeons containing mob spawners.
