Could Iron Golems turn into wardens?

Maybe you could make it so if an iron golem stays in the deep dark for too long, it turns into a Warden, like how a zombie turns into a drowned if it is underwater for too long.

    I don't think Iron Golems and the Warden are supposed to be the same... :/
