Glider (New Flying Mob)

The Glider is a small mob native to the overworld, it is neutral and spawns in the sky at least 35 blocks above the ground. It comes in many different colors and can be tamed. Gliders would have a 1 block wide wingspan and would be 2 blocks long with a 14 pixels long tail*. Gliders would be 5 pixels tall and would have 4 hearts of health. When attacked, Gliders deal 1 heart of damage (Twice as much as a player's bare hand). Gliders are tamed be feeding them any kind of raw meat, they will then follow their owner and make a noise when a hostile mob is close. Gliders would drop 1-2 xp orbs when killed. Gliders may also try to stop their own from falling and attempt to catch them, letting the player ride them until they are closer to the ground.

*In this case, a "pixel" refers to 1/16 of a block
