When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

add grapple hooks and night vision goggles

when you climb mountains, you could be chased by mobs so lets add grapple hooks and in caves when you run out of torches and are out of coal, add night vision goggles to see in dark caves without torches.

    I would suggest instead of goggles make the scope to have dark vision. This in order to allow navigation and travel in caves without making night vision potions useless. The grappling hook is also, in my opinion, a must to explore the new verticality caves and mountains added.
