Snow golems will often just run towards hostile mobs which makes no sense since they use long range snow balls to attack. Snow golems use long range attacks, but they always try to come and attack from close up and because of their fragile nature usually end up dying before landing any hits. I think if snow golems tried to stay at longe range it make them significantly more useful.
