I was making sea related posts when doing my commenting. I decided I would make clams! They have alot of uses but some downsides! Not all mobs can be 100% positive!
First of all, clams have pearls inside them! If you right click (or double tap) on the clams, they will open. Dont drop and item inside them, for otherwise the clams will close with the item in their mouth and you have to kill them to get your item back. Clams collect book and quills and pass them on to the nearest clam. This is useful for players who wants to send messages to other players! Be warned, the clams passing on the book and quills (or any item you drop inside them) only travel 50 blocks before they close and eat the item!
Clams eat kelp forests and spawn in kelp forests! To tame them, feed them dried kelp. You move them around on a lead, but they can on,y stay out of water for 10 minutes, so be quick! These clams aren't useful at fighting, but when killed, they drop meat wich you can eat to restore 4-7 hunger! Clams come in 2 species, common (wich we have been talking about) and rare. Rare clams do the same as normal clams, but have a golden pearl and drop 5 clam meat along with a gold pearl. Craft this pearl into 10 gold ingots! Super useful if you need gold all the time. You can create gold farms with these clams, because dolphins try and kill them! Yes, the dolphins eat the clams. Clams would be a great addition to minecraft, and I hope you vite for them!
