Redstone Activated by Hand - The Redstone Stick

When building with redstone, you often need to test to see if the component you just built works. To do that you need to place a button, lever or a redstone torch or block. This can often be very finicky and difficult, since these are always temporary and there may not be any space to place them.

To solve this I would suggest the addition of an item that lets you create a (15 strong) redstone signal wherever you left-click. You can click on a piece of redstone dust, a block or a redstone component like a piston or a repeater and have it become activated.

This would help especially when building flying machines, where you often need to activate pistons by hand to get them to start.

I would craft it by putting a redstone torch on a stick, but there's a million and one possible recipes - the main thing is the gameplay mechanic.
