Waxed Redstone (Java)

In the new update waxed copper blocks are being added to preserve the oxidation state of the block. This got me thinking about a way to coat Redstone so it can be placed and won't change states. So 2 lines of waxed Redstone can be run in parallel without connecting because the wax works to insulate it like actual wires. First place Redstone then hit it with wax and it can no longer change states or intersect unless it is picked up. Upon picking it up either give back both the wax and Redstone or create a new item waxed Redstone that can be placed down and has a short timer when it is 'drying' for you to connect it before it sets and cannot be altered anymore.
