Bring Back Historical Versions

This is unacceptable. What this is might be the definition of what I would define as a big step in the wrong direction. You, Mojang, The developers of Minecraft, removed the ability to even find these versions. Notch the original creator in minecraft, his work, is gone from the launcher completely. Some people switched to a different launcher others though, they have to stick with this change. Think of beta 1.7, one of the most liked versions of minecraft for it's landscapes. How about minecraft indev, or infdev? Those are gone. Even before this, the new launcher design ruined indev and infdev and all of those versions. All we are left with are versions that don't work at all. What a bad turn on the people everyone, that loved those versions. Mojang, please bring back the versions and also make the lost versions work. It might make a lot of people happy.

  Я полностью согласна. Я играю на консоли Ps4 и мне так обидно когда на Pc и Xbox версии выходят быстрее, и выходит так, что я больше не могу играть с друзьями

  my only idea for why Mojang could've done this is because you could corrupt your worlds.

  if that's the case, they could just make a separate saves folder.

  please add them back in.

  If some old versions are not working, like for example 1.5.2, you can start Minecraft 1.0 and then they should work
