The Updraught

So I think the Basalt Deltas need some improvements. The biome is very difficult to navigate through and it there’s virtually no reason to travel to one. My idea to solve these problems is by introducing the Updraught, a flying turtle-like mob exclusive to Basalt Deltas. They spawn by themselves and can be seen near the top of the nether. Players would be able to ride them, but with a catch: the longer they stay flying, the closer they get to the ground, eventually crashing and killing either themselves or the player. However, air geysers generating throughout the biome can push them back up, increasing their airtime. That way, they aren’t an overpowered mount, and require strategy while flying.
