I think custom skins should have the ability to be formatted for different character hights so that we dont need to make a character creator skin. This would work for both java and bedrock and would be able to be used with alex arms. This won't affect hitboxes.
It would have the same sizes that are already available to the character creator: medium(default), tall, small and smaller. The smaller hights could work with regular skins just that it would cut off a portions of the body + arms textures from the bottom and of the legs textures from the top so that important features like shoes and sleeves stay intact. The Tall hight would need its own skin format since there is no way to fit the extra pixels in the pre-existing skin png.
Servers can have the option to change everyone's skin to the meduim (default) skin size at any time if they feel the other sizes mess with balancing in PvP since it could make players more or less visible to others.
This small change has zero cons and would make skins a lot more fun and have more variations!
