I have been playing Minecraft since 2014, and have loved to see the game evolve, and our worlds along with it. However, recently I have been thinking a lot about how interesting and fun it would be to at least add a setting/mode/difficulty that increases the difficulty as you progress through certain aspects of the game, possibly based on achievements. For instance, it could be made so that prior to getting the achievement "We Need to Go Deeper" (entering the Nether), difficulty under this game mode (not game-mode as in survival or creative) is set to easy, and once you get the aforementioned achievement the difficulty is set to normal. Then after defeating the Ender Dragon or possibly even entering the game, you might have the game be changed into hard mode. This would also allow for more efficient farms as you progress throughout the game, and would therefore force you to complete certain tasks/achievements before building, say, a zombie villager cheapening system, as villagers cannot become zombie villagers in easy mode, only 50% chance in normal, and 100% in hard.
I can imagine that some of the comments will focus on how it might slightly remove some of the "sandbox-ness" of the game, yet, once again, it would have to be a setting.
Thank you to anyone who read this far!
