Technical Minecraft players often deal with the problem that there are certain actions that cannot be done without the presence of a player character. These actions include:
- Placing blocks
- Breaking blocks
- Crafting items
One partial solution that is often discussed is adding autocrafting. Although this works, it does not fit with the charm that many new features add to Minecraft. New features try to fit into the world in a way that builds on what is already present, but also brings something new to the table.
Here, I propose a solution that solves these problems, while fitting in well with what is already present within the world of Minecraft. After defeating the warden, the location at which he died emits a blue particle effect, similar to dragon breath although it does not harm the player. This represents the trapped souls of previous victims that have now been released. This can be captured in a bottle, and surrounded by gold in the crafting table to make the soul heart. If this heart is placed, along with a pumkin head on top, it will create the soul golem. The soul golem can be set to do once specific action, such as crafting in a table in front of them, or place/destroying a block in front of them, and they will continue to do this, as long as they are recharged with gold, that can be put into their inventory via dispensers or droppers. Items they need for crafting can also be put into their inventory via dispensers.
