Quasi dust would be a new type of redstone dust and components made from lapis lazuli that would solve a lot of parity issues and add community wanted features, including adding pushable chests to Java and quasi connectivity to Bedrock, while not breaking any existing things. If an idea here isn't approved by the moderators, just please remove that one idea instead of the entire post. Here are some possible uses:
-It would work with quasi connectivity while normal redstone wouldn't. All existing redstone dust on Java would be replaced with quasi dust, so that existing contraptions don't break.
-Normal pistons would now move tile entities on Java, while quasi pistons wouldn't. This is so that piston doors using furnaces would still work, but chest sorters would also work.
-Quasi sticky pistons would be able to spit out blocks, while normal sticky pistons wouldn't. This would make a player squisher easier on Java while making piston doors easier on Bedrock.
-A quasi piston would push twenty-four blocks instead of twelve.
-It could run next to redstone dust without powering it.
-It could transfer power to redstone dust with a normal or quasi repeater.
