A recent snapshot addition introduces raw item forms to smeltable ores for iron, gold and copper. This essentially creates an intermediary between ores and ingots, whereby the player mines the raw mineral which is unrefined/in its natural state (unless silk touched the ore).
A suggestion that could be for possible further clarity is to add the word mineral at the end, e.g. raw iron mineral. This could distinguish the ore and ingot items abit more. Also it describes the natural state of the mineral that was mined/carved out of the stone ore exterior. Whilst "raw iron" does this, it being simple and straight to the point, ending the word with mineral could make sound whole/complete like iron ore and iron ingot. Just a thought for consideration.
