Taking armour off of mobs with hoppers

Let's say you have a pet zombie and you've given it diamond armour, you decide you want to upgrade it to netherite, but you can't because the armour is there to stay if you could take it off you could upgrade it.

    TNTexploging900 I have one and so do many other people

    also this would be good because on the rare chance that they spawn with diamond armor you can trap them and take it without damaging it or the chance of losing it

    this would be too op for things like zombie spawner farms
