So, in ‘Stable’ Bastion Remnants, hoglins can spawn. Since it is called a ‘Stable’, we could presume that the hoglins here are used as mounts by the Piglins, but they are not!
So, my idea is this: a new mob (or not, maybe just a variation of the hoglin) called the “Rider Hoglin”.
Aggression: This Hoglin would follow the same rules of aggression as the piglins, being friendly when you have a piece of gold armor on, and attacking if you don’t, and attacking if you open or break an item of storage, or mine gold or gilded blackstone. It would attack wither skeletons and withers, but would only ever hunt hoglins if ridden by a piglin (We’ll get to that soon). They are slightly more dangerous than a normal piglin, as they will not.
Spawning: They will spawn randomly with a rider who always has a crossbow, and will spawn alongside other piglins 57% of the time. They will also spawn in stables (50% of the time without a rider) alongside normal piglins, presumably kept for later butchering and consumption.
Looks: The same as a normal Hoglin, but with a saddle and reins attached to it’s tusks.
Riding: Sometimes, a Riding Hoglin will be ridden by a piglin. This piglin will always have a crossbow. If the Riding Hoglin spawns with no rider, or their rider dies from... other ways (looking at you), it can be fed Crimson Fungus to tame it! If you press jump, it will attack!
I think it should be in the game because stables in the real world hold horses, and the nether parallel would be this.
