Gold is far too abundant in deepslate-layer caves

When I explore the deepslate layer megacaves, I find there is far too much gold. For example, in a 50x50 region of a megacave, I found seven veins of gold ore. The stuff is absolutely everywhere to find in caves. I can find more gold ore in the deepslate caves than I can iron ore in the stone layers.

I feel gold's abundance should be significantly reduced, or be given a lot less air-exposure.
