Minecraft Bedrock Edition hasn't recieved much love over the years and has kind of been; slacking when it comes to commands. As a lover of creating mini-games and using Minecraft as a tool to express creativity and different ideas; I find a constant implication that occurs everytime I wish to make something happen using commands. This goes for anything, checking you have the right items in shops for example. There are a lot of commands that Java Edition has that I'd love to be able to use on the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft.
As Minecraft is a sandbox game, I feel that there shouldn't be limitations (specifically referencing command based limitations) depending on the platform you play on. I would love to see a nice update for Bedrock that introduces the commands that are missing and would be of major use to content creators like myself. I have so many ideas for maps and different mini-games that I'd love to have functional, but Bedrock Edition constantly has those limitations that make it impossible.
What do I want?
- I would like more commands available on Bedrock Edition that are currently only available on Java Edition
Why do I want it?
- Specifically for content creators of course, I am sure many Bedrock Edition content creators can agree with me here too.
How should it be implemented?
- Just like all the other commands, except there doesn't need to be some major update where they are introduced, we just simply need to have them slotted in between updates maybe.
