Minecraft Dungeons is a great game. It's nice to see we are getting more puzzle elements to it with the gale sanctum, moving lifts in the windswept peaks, and even the floodgates in the nether fortress.
I still think there is something missing though. I'm requesting for a level to be added that is open-ended with multiple branching paths that all connect back to a central room and interconnect with each other. This dungeon could be filled to the brim with puzzles and enemies. The closest thing we have to this is soggy cave and the nether fortress.
I think it would be really rewarding if instead of a start-to-finish level, it was sort of spread out like a celtic knot, with different paths which all lead to a certain objective to maybe unlock a door in the middle of the knot, which maybe needs to be activated by 4 beacons spread out across the dungeon. Each beacon could be behind a puzzle, or open up various sections and treasure rooms.
Basically what I'm asking for is a dungeon akin to some of the dungeons found in The Legend of Zelda series. Something big and large but it interconnects in the centre so you should never really get lost. A dungeon filled with puzzles which make the player feel proud of themselves for solving.
I love the dungeon's levels, but I'd like something more bigger and open ended with more puzzles and interactive mechanics.
