A settings group called java behavior which gives you a few options after enabling. This can be turned on without cheats, but will warn you about low end devices possibly having issues, and will allow for the following settings : dual wielding, max entity cramming, better entity collision, the java combat system, and (if cheats are on) nbt and data related commands. Not only does it customize the world perfectly so no one deals with issues of the mechanics being annoying, but it still adds a huge amount of parity. Upon being enabled, the general setting cant be turned off but can be customized, and adds the spectral arrow. All items, features, and block placements in java are enabled.
Methods of how some of these can be added :
Dual wielding : remove items secondary uses. for console, pc and switch players its simple, for mobile players, when using split controls tap left side for left hand and right side for right hand, for touch controls just tap a button to swap hands, since mobile players can tap that easily after some practice, and could already swap at fast speeds pretty much giving mobile players 10 hotbar slots (still fair since other players can still use hotbar and offhand)
Handling items being disabled : just have the item in the main code but be completely unobtainable and do nothing special until re enabled.
Glowing effect : probably same coding to make names apear but with a yellow outline around body
Maybe this could be 1.18 as a parity overhaul update
