it should be crafted with 4 amethyst crystals and a glowstone lamp
my idea is that it will crate a light output equal to the redstone input (whereas glowstone lamps always have a light level of 15)
it would be interesting to have a redstone light source that isn't always maximum light.
(and clever redstonists can make pulsing light sources)
