So, in real life cats play with yarn. Yarn doesn't feel right in minecraft... so why don't they use slimes? When slimes are in their smallest, cats are able to play with them! Cats would have a new animation where they go on their back and push their paws around, fling in the slime up and down! When the cat is done playing, the slime will then be launched 2 blocks high! With slimes, they can also push them around. They will fling the slimes then run back to them, choosing to do nothing, fling them, or play with the slime on their back. After playing with a slime, cats will be able to drop you slimeballs when you wake up. This allows for easy slime farms, even if a bit inefficient. Also, when a cat has a Jellie texture they will more commonly lay on chests.
