Something I've constantly been nagged by while playing Minecraft is the hotbar. It's always too small! I can't fit all the things I need to use on my hotbar, so I constantly have to juggle the items. It would be very beneficial to the game to have an expanded hotbar. This would work by having the hotkeys being extended to the `, -, and = keys. This way, the hotbar would be able to have an extended size, while still retaining the same place on the keyboard and the same ease of use.
Possible problems, and my solutions.
What about console and mobile players?
For console and mobile players, this would be even easier to implement than for pc players. For mobile players, it would just add more slots to the bar, and they would be able to tap them as with the others.
For console players, the solution would be similar.
This will mess up my keybinds!
Simple. Most players don't have anything mapped to their function keys, so you can just re map them to be up there.
