3rd party shader support for render dragon

Prior to Render Dragon, the new graphics engine, release on Bedrock, we had the ability to have/use custom shaders. Not only did these shaders provide the capability for better quality and immersive graphics for the game, but they provided a ton of utility as well. Since Render Dragon has released, we have lost the following (and more)

- Chunk Border packs
- Light Level packs
- Hit Box and Sight line packs
- Redstone power indicator packs
- Packs to remove fog effect
-  Packs to remove enchantment glint, particle effects, and the Vignette effect down in caves

With the new capabilities the Render Dragon graphics engine has, it would be a HUGE benefit to the community to allow for 3rd party support to not only take advantage of the things listed above, but to also give the community the ability to create some really amazing looking shaders that rival what Java Edition has, and help draw more people over the the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft.


Render Dragon's shaders currently come pre-compiled, so for 3rd party shaders to become possible, we would need Mojang to share their compiler or work flow. Not only would it be great for this to be made available, but for Mojang to actively develop and promote ways for 3rd party creators to make the game more customized and more beautiful for everyone.

    I just figured out how to apply shaders to xbox and than this happens, i would love to be able to do this again I hope we get to 10000 votes fingers crossed 🤞

    I have a feeling that this is gonna be the "give us the cave update" all over again, Mojang reviews it and then after like 6 years they finally will add it, this is just my thoughts so don't take this as truth, however i am aware that Mojang works hard but theres over 1 million people who are waiting for the cave update, say what you will about that.

    This really need to be fixed cause it was soo cool to have nice shaders for minecraft bedrock editon or windows 10 edition this wont be a huge problem for rtx graphic players but for other players this is a real issue. Without shaders it is not that enjoyable when playing survival gamemode. Hope mojang team fixes this issue by 1.18 update of caves and cliff

    I like how SO MUCH people have voted and mojang still wont add shader support :/. Tbh i think they just care about the money because more than half the windows ten community can teven run rtx.

    If I think we all ask for that and I more than play on Xbox one and it is VERY difficult for me to find shaders or texture packs that I really like because the ones that are available well ... I am not saying that they are ugly if they simply do not meet my personal expectations that I wish they were :)

    It would be an amazing enhancement to Minecraft users who can not get RTX Graphic Cards. It would be very nice if it became a reality!

    They should definitely do this, Raytracing is cool and all but most of us don't have a rtx card or are on consoles. At least provide a reason for why you haven't added support yet

    PLEASE MOJANG RELEASE THE RENDER DRAGON FILES SO WE CAN HAVE 3RD PARTY SHADERS 🙌🙌 This is why Windows 10 and Consoles don’t have shaders 🥲 Hopefully we get some soon! Hopefully Mojang release render dragon files so creators can make shaders!

    Please guys bring the shaders back! My pc lags a lot when using the default rtx shader cause of the high details! All what i want is a small and simple shader for my Minecraft worlds to enjoy with and of course without any lagging. I just got to play Minecraft on my pc after a rlly long time and i was confused because most of the shaders worked for my phone and even the rtx one's but not on my pc?? Man i was reall confused when that happened. I really hope you guys can fix it, im not used to java but at the same time i really wanna play with some shaders on!

    Let's be honest, without adons and shaders I would have stopped playing Minecraft a long time ago. I'm disappointed that they think everyone can afford a rtx graphics card. This offends both the many console players and those who simply cannot afford it. That's really sad. I have so many beautiful world's that were even more beautiful with shaders. When I enter them now, it feels like somethings missing.
