Finches

At times the Minecraft world feels empty. To fix this we can add birds. I chose finches specifically because they are such a diverse group of birds you can give them many variants similar to tropical fish or rabbits. As well as normal variants they can have biome variants these would likely be:

Desert- Desert Finch

Jungle- Zebra finch, Gouldian Finch

Forest- Pine Siskin, Purple Finch

Taiga- Pine Grosbeak, Red Crossbill

Plains- House Finch, American Goldfinch

Savannah- Canaries, African Firefinch

They could be bred with berries and any variant of seeds. Their natural enemies can be foxes and wolves. Since they are more of an esthetic mob they will probably only drop feathers but I’ve heard that some cultures eat finches so maybe they can drop some sort of meat that you can cook.
