Eroded Volcanoes to add scenery (Edited)

So, lets talk eroded volcanoes. They are like massive mountains, with a massive hole in the center with atleast 1 top part of it cut off. The hole has no lava in it. So you can go down to the bottom, allowing for some better ore gathering. At the bottom is some magma blocks, though. So you'll want to me careful! In the mountain, their are many spaghetti caves that lead to more caves! The volcanoes themselves are made of mountain materials, with a new block at the bottom called "Sulfur". It is a black sand of sorts. It is affected by gravity with it also being used TNT crafting recipe with coal instead of gunpower, and sulfur instead of sand. This block also has a special property with fire. When on fire, it'll always burn in 0.1 seconds but then spread it to another block. They generate rarely, but also contain mass amounts of sand and gravel at the bottom. You may also find some iron and coal ore at the bottom. Also, rarely water can be found inside these volcanoes. When the volcanoes have water, some sulfur will be replaced with magma blocks to drag the player in, making these a dangerous foe. Water volcanoes will also have more ores generate in them. But the biggest award of all for eroded volcanoes is... The caves in them! These allow for mass exploration and more resources! But this "biggest reward" is only for certain players. For people that enjoy scenery, just the structure is beautiful. Oh that reminds me, I got to go! Goodbye my friend and have a joyful day!

    sulfur should be an alternative to gunpower in crafting recipeis, and also should be highly flammable.

    The Sulphur variant crafting recipe should require replacing some of the sand with charcoal and redstone dust. Clearly creeper variant gunpowder is more powerful than anything plain sulphur can offer seeing as it is literally mixed with sand of all things to produce the TNT. Furthermore I suggest simply using the sulphur, redstone dust, and charcoal mix I suggested to craft the gun powder separately. Though not flammable I hypothesize that due to its excitable nature and carbon + uranium + unknown element composition that redstone when squeezed and heated to a significant degree would produce enough heat at once to disperse the charcoal and sulphur while thermally accelerating combustion therefore creating a powerful explosion.

    Seeing as real world coal naturally is rich in trace deposits of coal it would make since for some small amount of sulphur to be obtainable from coal.

    Seeing as craters are good at holding water even when hot these naturally generated volcanic craters when of capacity to do so hold water. Perhaps there could be some kind of steam mechanic whereby water in such things as ponds and craters slowly evaporates, but is replenished by rain?

    Thanks for the feedback, Redstone Dreamer! I think what you said is a bit complicated for minecraft, but I do like having charcoal in the recipe! I also like the water idea, though I don't think the steam mechanic fits minecraft. But thanks for the feedback!
