The Grim Leaf Plant

The Grim Leaf Plant is another cave plant. It will close gradually whenever a mob walks on it. Once it is closed it will deal damage. The only mob it will spare is the creeper. I imagine this could only be found below y0 or in dripstone caves but if it can only be found in lush caves then I am also fine with that.

The Grim Leaf Plant would deal 1 heart of damage every 20 ticks. Once the Grim Leaf Plant closes on you, you can still get out but you would have to hit the Grim Leaf Plant. It only has 5 hearts of health.

You can walk on the Grim Leaf Plant while crouching. There will also be 3 stages. One open, one closing, and one closed.

    This sounds like an amazing idea! Maybe it closing would also alert any Wardens or Sculk sensors nearby.
