Minecraft desperately needs big challenging dungeons for adventure. The closest thing we have is the Woodland Mansion (too rare). Minecraft gets boring after you explore all & defeat the strongest of enemies, so let's fix that!
Imagine a giant box under the Nether's bedrock. This is where the Nether Dungeon structure will be. The outer shell of the box is encased in bedrock to prevent access to the void. The dungeon is similar to roguelike dungeons, going down floors until you reach the final floor.
It has 4 floors, with an entrance on top. Each floor has treasures to loot, with the final floor having the best loot. Zoglins & Piglin Brutes naturally spawn here. This makes the Piglin Brute mob renewable.
The Netherite Warrior is on the final floor. An intimidating figure, wearing full enchanted netherite equipment. It uses a fire sword & shield to automatically block attacks, giving axes & piercing crossbows more gameplay. It'll switch to a fire bow if out of range.
A big weakness is that this boss is NOT immune to potion effects. This gives status effects like slow & poison more gameplay (when was the last time you use splash potions on hostile mobs?). Potions will work great in bypassing both shield & armor.
I'm unsure of drops, but do make the boss fight renewable!
Minecraft needs to be more daring with its updates. If it's too stagnant, if it's too reliant on excuses like "there's a similar mod for it" or "it's too big of a change", it'll lose to other games like Hypixel/Hytale.
