When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Redstone cable

A cable made of redstone and copper that can go up walls that are 4 blocks tall at max, crafted with copper bar in the middle row of a crafting table and the top and bottom are redstone and it makes 4 cable. Redstone power lines can be part cable and part redstone, except on walls.

    Directionally placeable like chain links, but still forming T joints like redstone dust would be nice. Also consider: insulated redstone cable (sandwich redstone cable between two wool carpets) to make a cable that exclusively passes signal from one end of the cable to the other, but none of the surrounding blocks.
