Multiple IPs Per Server

Some servers have multiple IPs or addresses that you can use to connect to. For example, I have my Windows machine set up to run a server. I have my local IP address, my external IP address, and a domain all as separate listings for the same server. I would like to condense them all into one server with multiple addresses. I know this is niche and too advanced for most users, but I figure there's no harm in saying something.

The main purpose of this would be for servers with multiple or backup addresses. I'd envision the interface similarly to a contacts list on a smartphone, where there's a default number to call, but you can click somewhere on the contact to see other numbers listed with that contact. Or maybe where you can have up to three associated addresses that have their own 'connect' button next to the server listing.

    I also appreciate to have this. It is a good idea to have 2 or more IPs per server, this add up flexibility to the people that hosts servers.
