When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

The Watcher

Hello

This is my idea for a new block called the watcher 

[What It Does]

The watcher sends a redstone signal if it sees a mob or the player

[How It Could Be Used]

You could make a mob farm that waits for chickens or cows to fall then when the watcher sees it and then sends a redstone signal to a dispenser that shoots the mob with a fire charge and then drops the cooked meat into a hopper making a cooked food farm

[Why I Want This Added]

I want this added so I can make some cool redstone builds that will help me out in my minecraft world and also to see more cool ideas on how this can be used (like locked doors that you need a small animal to open)

This Was My Idea On Something New That I Think Should Be Added To The Game Thank You For Reading

    Mob detectors are already very easy with tripwires, pressure plates, and string-observers.
