throwable spawn eggs

I think it would be cool if we could throw the spawn eggs (as well as place them) because sometimes i like fighting mobs but i keep spawning them too close i would like to be able to spawn them from a distance, maybe aiming at air blocks or blocks out of range can cause it to be thrown?  or another type of spawn egg (similar to how potions work) thats shaped like a ball or something and you can throw that, and if you put it in a dispenser and power it it will throw the egg and wherever it hits it spawns that mob
