There is the rumor of Veteran Capes with the migration which I think is great... but also not so great. I have been playing Minecraft Java for quite a long time, so I should get capes for each update/year I've had my account, right? Well no. I only started my current account a year or two ago, I used to play on a different account, so I won't be getting the capes for each update I had that account because I no longer use that account. For people who are in scenarios like this one, I have an idea.
Say that there is an account that is under 3 years since the account's initial creation they would only get a few of the capes. So what if they had a choice?
My Idea:
If the account is 3 years they could choose 1 cape from the veteran cape collection,
2 years = 2 capes
1 year = 3 capes
0 years = 3 capes
The way that the cape(s) would be chosen is:
{Update Number Update Name Update Cape (Image)}
And repeat that for each update, and then the player could choose the number of capes that corresponds with their account age.
That way each account would get say around 3 or 4 capes and you don't have a bunch of people running around wearing the same cape because that would be kind of bland and also reduce the rarity of the cape...
So that's my input on the veteran cape idea.
