There’s many ways it could be implemented, but overall a sitting emote would be a nice addition to the list of emotes available to players.
When creating houses, players love making different kinds of chairs using various blocks, but one major problem is how to actually sit down in them. Of course, players usually just use sneak to portray this action, but it would be wonderful to have a way to actually sit down on things like chairs, logs around a campfire, couches, & ect.
The emote itself could look exactly like how the already existing animation is for when a player is riding a mount, boat, or mine cart. Using the already in-game mechanics surrounding emotes, the sitting emote would last indefinitely until a player moves. If this is inconvenient for coding, simply making it last 10 - 15 minutes would also suffice. To start, the emote could begin with the player taking a seat to the position of sitting.
As for implementation into the marketplace, this particular emote, due to its usefulness, could be either free like the waving emote or it would probably work as a “common” emote. Another option would be to award this emote to players for completing some already existing achievement, possibly the “MOAR TOOLS” achievement due to its ease for players to complete.
Overall, a sitting emote would be a great enhancement to the player’s arsenal of emotes as it is useful in many situations where there’s a need to take a seat.
