Accidental edge of screen touch

The edge of a smartphone screen is way to close to the edge of the phone itself. The Pocket Edition was designed for smartphones with a thick black border surrounding the screen. My palms constantly place and destroy multiple blocks that are almost out of view. I fly past a building and my palm will act like a mega laser and carve a line right through a house. If there was something akin to the size of the buttons being altered, where there is a square safezone on the edge of the screen where an accidental touch can be prevented, excluding the movement buttons and controls, then this will prevent placing and destroying blocks with the base of my pointer finger. This problem has been addressed only by samsung and the curved edge with an accidental edge touching prevention app.
