I think it'd be cool if the outvoted Mob C, or The Great Hunger, could be a rare mob you find deep underground amongst the deepslate caves, but not in the Deep Dark (well, maybe, but depends on how the Warden is, and the AI and stuff). It could be called a "Hungry."
I also imagined it as a surface mob, but I think it could fit underground, too. It burrows into blocks beneath it, waiting for its prey (you or other entities) to step over it, making it chomp its jaws and come out from the ground. It'll try and chase you if you get away, but tire and burrow again after a short time even if it knows you're still near. It may try and burrow again while taking enough damage, too, trying to avoid death, but it won't disappear or heal.
Instead of disenchanting items, it could combine enchantments or enchantment levels instead, allowing you to get a level above the usual max level (maybe 1-2 levels higher), which is why it'd be rare and found so deep underground. Maybe you'd have to defeat it to get the items back, or maybe it becomes passive for a bit due to liking the magical taste, and spits the items back out; idk, the first one may be better, the latter just sounded nice to me :p
You can tell it's there by seeing its jaws poke out from the ground a little. Its texture will somewhat blend in with blocks around it, however. Its rareness will cause you to only find one of them every now and then, never others nearby.
