Soul Sucker Pitch:
I think current mobs are at disadvantage underground due to tight spaces and player-made blockades. If we'd like the underground to be more thrilling and challenging -- I'd suggest a new mob called "Soul Sucker" which can can seep through walls, target idling players, silently drain health, and scare players by sending them to the void! Now, I don't know what this mob would look like, but one way players could avoid it is by having a parrot with them (slight nod to canaries & coal mines). May be an out-there idea, but I think protecting a parrot would liven up mining later in the game.
Anyway, just wanted to share this idea. If you have any feedback feel welcome to comment!
Soul Sucker Overview:
- Afraid of Parrots.
- Targets idling players.
- Can seep through walls.
- Ignores armor protection.
- Can silently drain player's health.
- Player falls to void after health is drained.
- Can appear behind or same space as player.
- Items drop on ground before player descends.
