Multiple Methods for world transferation between 1.16 and 1.17

Previously Loaded Chunks Updating

• (A). Previously Loaded Chunks will fill with bedrock between y=-1 and y=-64.
• A slope (of some function) of bedrock of Unloaded Chunks & Corner Chunks bordering Previously Loaded Chunks approaches y=-64. As well as (A)
• Replacement of bedrock between y=4 and y=0 in the Overworld, with Deepslate and/or Tuff or Cave Air. New generation will load below

Previously Loaded Chunks not updating

• Unloaded Chunks & Corner Chunks bordering Previously Loaded Chunks are filled with only bedrock between y=-1 and y=-64
• An invisible barrier under Previously Loaded Chunks disallowing players to go under y=0
• A slope (of some function) of bedrock of Unloaded Chunks & Corner Chunks bordering Previously Loaded Chunks approaches y=-64.

  Здравствуйте разработчики,на днях

  я придумал идею на 1.17 когда козы будут спавнится то они будут сначало маленькими->

  средними->большими(взрослыми).

  Just make a world generated in 1.16 don´t go lower than 0, simple as that

  This would make the caves of 1.17 much less signifcant but that is better than not having 1.17 at all

  yes. I think replace the existing bedrock with stone and generate the new stuff below y0 is the best idea
