I want Minecraft Bedrock Edition's (Minecraft Java Edition has the same issue) ping size to be lowerd and the timeout period to be raised to accomodate very slow internets.
On Bedrock Edition, when your connecting to a multiplayer world, you have to ping the world to test if it's a valid world and if they are still on. If the ping comes back as a fail, it says "Unable to Connect" or "The world is no longer avalible to join" and it may be that the ping timed out. For most people, the current ping size and timeout wait is a good size, but for people who have a very slow internet, it's TOO slow.
How I think it can be done it doing something like this: ping "some game" 16 bytes 360 timeout. I don't know the current ping rate nor do I know how much it needs to be lowered to work with slower internets, but something along these lines will work great.
