Personally, I think that Minecraft needs some more rideable mobs, especially when it comes down to combat. As we already know, there are mobs like spiders, Ravagers, and Hoglins that other mobs can ride, but not the player. My idea for a new combat mob that could be potentially a great addition to Minecraft is The Moose
-Moose spawn in the Taiga and/or Mountains (and variants) specifically, but are pretty rare because of their utility.
-They are neutral, and only become attack if approached too fast or take damage from a mob.
-The taming process could proceed as follows:
•You mist approach it at either crouching speed or walking speed for a few steps at a time. If you corner it on a wall or ledge, it may attack you.
•You must feed it Sticks, Leaves or Sweet berries to passing it. Once this happens, try to mount it as if it were a horse. If it bucks you off, there is a 25-30% chance it will attack so be sure to bring lots of food for it.
•if killed it will drop a Moose Hide (for clothes??)
•Once it is tame, it can be equipped with a saddle and become rideable and used for mounted combat.
-Pressing the Use button with an unusable item (anything with no use other than breaking) will command it to swing its head as an attack.
-Holding the Use button long enough causes it to charge, but is tough to steer
Moose can be lead and always attack hostile mobs (territorial), and can breed.
An item called a Carriage can be crafted as a Moose drawn cart (since they do that in real life).
