Adding Features to Minecraft Education Edition

Can you please add the 1.15, 1.16, and 1.17 updates to Minecraft Education Edition? I would like to be able to do all the things my friends can do just because they have Minecraft Java or Minecraft Bedrock. Also, could you add mods? I've read a ton about them and I really want to be able to test them out on my computer.
