Nether Tower (From my Dream)

I know this is a long shot but I had this idea from a dream and it was just too cool to not share it! In my dream I was in the nether, it wall all void and fog accept for the tower I was in. The tower had no floors or walls, just a spiral staircase heading up the tower. The staircase wasn't very wide, you could jump off the staircase and fall down to the bottom of the tower. But the floor wasn't a floor, but a huge portal for escaping the tower. So the main idea is, you got a large hollow tower in the nether. Inside you start at the bottom and try to reach the top. If it becomes to dangerous you can forfeit by jumping down the center of the tower and into the escape portal. I don't remember much from that dream, the tower is the one thing I remember. I'm not sure how progressing up the tower or getting there in the first place would work. It doesn't have be in the nether though, thats just where it was in my dream. This was just a fun idea I wanted to share, I certainly had fun writing this! Anyway thanks for reading and have a great day!
