    I think that's too much for the game to handle. They're trying to make it so that the height limit is increased without having too much to load in for lower classed computers. Otherwise things could get really laggy and run slower. Also what we have is good because do we really need that type of depth in Minecraft's caves and mountains? It just seems like extra space that isn't necessary.

    I think it's an excellent idea but keep it available for custom worlds or even as an option when generating new worlds. A slider perhaps? Maybe even as a world type? That may be the best idea there.

    You guys should definitely raise the height limit.
